There are many people who are addicted to alcohol and these same people have been in various detox centers without getting the help that they need to prevent them from being dependent on alcohol. Of course, there must be a good reason for that. It could either be that the person did not take the treatment seriously. It could be that the detox center did not have the appropriate services in place.

It could be that the person gave up too easily when the withdrawal symptoms became difficult to endure. It could be that the person did not get enough support from family and friends while in treatment. It could be that the person had to be admitted as an outpatient and was unable to resist the temptation of abusing more alcohol. It could be that the person was not disciplined enough or it could be that the person just did not care about their life and what happened to them.
